How can I submit pictures, articles, ideas, etc. to the website? You can e-mail them to the webmaster at elgilen.nachpikin@gmail.com. We are always looking for new stuff to post! Regarding articles, I will not proofread them unless you ask me to.
Why are there so few articles/pictures/etc. on the website? The website had not been updated in years, so most of the articles and pictures did not pertain to our current scouts. We are still in the process of building this site.
What is your policy on putting names on the website? It is the policy of Troop 49 that no one under the age of 18 will have their full name published on-line. For example, if Thomas Lane is 13 years old, his name will show up on the website as Thomas L. This is to respect privacy.
I want to learn about/visit/join your troop. How do I go about this? You can contact our Scoutmaster, Adam Klingenberg, at (402) 488-3478. In addition, you can look at our Recruiting page.
Can I link to your website? Sure. By all means do. However, it is according to BSA policy that we do not link to outside sources not approved by the Boy Scouts of America.
